My Real Techniques Brushes

Now let me start by saying this, I have no bad words to say about Real Techniques Brushes. I first heard about Real Techniques on YouTube and didn't think much of them. Then as I researched into them more I was in, they had sold me! At this time my School Leavers Do was coming up and I was doing my own make-up so I was buying mostly new make up. I couldn't afford to buy a lot of brushes so I just went for the Stippling Brush that I used for my foundation. I tried this brush as soon as I got home, took all my make up off and started from scratch just so I could use this brush. It applies foundation so well, you can really work it into the skin, it almost acts like a buffing brush to create a flawless base.

(From left to right) Power Brush, Blush Brush, Expert Face Brush, Stippling Brush, Deluxe Crease Brush, Base Shadow Brush, Accent Brush, Brow Brush and Point Eye liner Brush.
The next lot of Real Techniques Brushes I got was the Starter Set, (which are the purple brushes on the right). I asked my mum for these for my birthday and much to my joy I got them. I was soooooooo happy! And again I ran up stairs and started to try them out! At the moment I use the Expert Crease Brush for my concealer, the Base Shadow Brush for my base and contouring which it is perfect for because it is pointed so it fits into the crease of your eye perfectly. I use the accent brush for accenting obviously and the brow brush for my brows. I don't actually use the Point Brush a lot, I don't have an gel eye liner to use it with. I sometimes use this brush to high light near my tear ducts if I have quite a heavy eye look, to brighten my eyes.

Now to my most recent brushes, I bought the Powder Brush, Blush Brush and Expert Face Brush as a little treat from me to me. I am very much enjoying these brushes so far, I have started using the Expert Face Brush for my foundation instead of my stippling brush, just for a bit of a change. This brush gives great coverage and blends your foundation really well. The Blush Brush is just perfect for blusher, i used to find myself applying too much and it looking a bit to strong on the cheek. This brush makes blush look a lot more natural. I also sometimes use this brush for my bronzer, for contouring, usually when I'm going out and I want to be browner! The power brush is lovely, its nice and soft and blends the power on your foundation evenly. My old power brush was one from GOSH and the bristles used to come off on my face, so I'd have to pick them off and smudge my make up! It was a right pain!
I am very happy with the Reach Techniques Brushes an I think they will be in my life for a very long time and will soon hopefully have the whole collection! I would seriously recommend buying these brushes! If not all then at least the basics, they have made such a positive change in how I apply my make up! They can seem a little pricy, it just depends on how you look at it! I like to keep an open mind when it comes to buying make up. If it wasn't worth it, it wouldn't cost that much!
Thank You very very much gorgeous Samantha Chapman for creating these amazing brushes!
